Physical: The images I chose to represent Physical Development relied on strength. I chose to incorporate gears, weights, and a timeline of growing up. To me physical development relies on building yourself as a person. Finding out what works and what doesn't.
Cognitive: The images I chose for Cognitive Development are set on imagination and risk. I chose to incorporate a tight rope, because we need to learn how to balance our lives, but also to take risk in the process. Imagination comes into play because we needs to have multiple sets of lenses on the world, we can't look at life with one, we need a variety.
Social: The images I chose for Social Development are based on growth, potential, and benefit. Social to me means growing and finding who you are as a person. Finding your group of friends, finding yourself, your image. There are benefits and potential to do anything.
Emotional: The images I chose for Emotional Development rely on mood and uncertainty. At this age there are multiple emotions going through someone's head, whether that be happy, sad, etc.. Emotions come into play at all times and places, it is a matter of how to go about them.
I think you did an awesome job on your collage, I think you did a very good job at explaining each individual developmental category through your pictures that you choose. We had very similar pictures for emotional development, I also used the picture of all the different emoji's to represent mood swings. I really liked the way you explained cognitive development with the tight rope. I definitely found it challenging when looking for pictures to represent cognitive and your tight rope image was one of the most creative ones I have seen. You did a great job :)
