I think that inquiry-oriented is the most effective teaching because this way allows for students to figure out the questions/problems on their own. For example, a math teacher would give out a problem, and from there they give you ways to solve the problem and the students go to work. When it comes to other methods of pedagogy, I think that every teacher has their own, that is what makes them different for others. I think open pedagogy is great as well because there are multiple aspects that students could get something out of.

Hi Ashley!
Reading through your blog post, I sense A LOT of positivity which is wonderful! It can be challenging to stay positive, especially inside of a middle school classroom where the emotions/feelings are constantly changing. The importance of building relationships is beneficial for the teacher and the student. This can help the overall school environment as well in making the students feel safe and welcomed. I liked how you do not have an image of what a bad student is; this made me rethink what I listed on my post. This is a great mindset to have because as educators we are wanting the best out of every student, even if each one of them express it differently!
